These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Data for AI Search website, the AI Citation Audit, and any related dashboards, tools, and services (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Data for AI Search measures and helps improve how AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Grok) cite and describe a business. Outputs include scores, reports, competitive intelligence, and content recommendations. The Service is informational and analytical. AI assistants are third-party systems we do not control; we do not guarantee any particular citation, ranking, mention, traffic, lead, or business outcome.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for activity under your account, and for keeping your credentials secure. You may only scan or submit domains you own or are authorized to act for.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse or attempt to disrupt the Service; probe, scan, or test its security without authorization; scrape, resell, or systematically extract the Service beyond your own use; submit unlawful, infringing, or misleading content; or use the Service to violate the terms of any third-party platform (including the AI assistants or any site where you post). You are solely responsible for anything you publish based on our recommendations, including replies you post from your own accounts.
4. Free audit, plans & billing
The initial AI Citation Audit is provided free. Paid plans provide additional monitoring and features and are billed on the cadence shown at purchase. Prelaunch or founding rates, where offered, are described at sign-up. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing prospectively; changes do not affect a founding rate expressly locked at sign-up.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its methodology, software, and content, is owned by Data for AI Search and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your business. Reports and content we generate for you may be used for your own business purposes. You retain rights to the underlying facts about your business that you provide.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including AI providers, search and data vendors, hosting, email delivery, and analytics. Their availability, accuracy, and terms are outside our control, and we are not responsible for third-party systems or the content of third-party sites.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any score, estimate, or recommendation will produce a specific result. AI outputs can be inaccurate or change over time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Data for AI Search will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request that your account be paused or deleted. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
